Service Description
Embodied Assertiveness explores assertiveness as an internal, embodied capacity rather than a communication technique or personality trait. Many people know what they want to say or choose, yet struggle to express it in the moment. This course approaches that gap through a nervous-system-informed lens, recognizing that clarity, boundaries, and voice arise most naturally when the body feels safe, stable, and supported. Drawing from yoga, somatic awareness, and mindful movement, each lesson guides participants to cultivate internal steadiness through posture, breath, and sensation. Rather than pushing for expression, the practices emphasize listening to the body, recognizing habitual responses to pressure, and restoring choice. Assertiveness is reframed as the ability to engage, disengage, speak, or pause with integrity—without force, collapse, or reactivity. The course progresses from establishing internal safety into exploring boundaries, visibility, restraint, and voice as lived experiences. Practices are invitational, adaptable, and designed to integrate into daily life, supporting assertiveness that feels grounded, respectful, and sustainable. Participants are encouraged to move at their own pace, developing self-trust and presence that extend beyond the mat and into relationships, communication, and decision-making. This offering is a one on one coaching offering. There are six sessions each one-hour in length. Sessions will be scheduled on agreed upon times between LightOn Radiance and client.

Payment is expected in full at the time of service. To ensure that our services run smoothly for all our clients, we have implemented the following cancellation policy: 1. **Notice Period**: Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made at least 12 hours before the scheduled appointment time. 2. **Method of Cancellation**: Cancellations can be made by calling our office at [Your Contact Number] or by emailing us at cathy@lightonradiance.com. Please provide your name, appointment date and time, and the reason for cancellation. 3. **Late Cancellations and No-Shows**: If you cancel within 12 hours of your appointment or do not show up, a cancellation fee of $50 will be charged. This fee is necessary to compensate our staff for their time and to cover the loss of the appointment slot. 4. **Refunds**: For prepaid services, a full refund will be issued if the cancellation is made at least 12 hours in advance. For cancellations made within 12 hours of the appointment, the cancellation fee will be deducted, and the remaining amount will be refunded. 5. **Emergency Situations**: We understand that emergencies happen. If you have an emergency and need to cancel within the 12-hour window, please contact us as soon as possible. We will handle these situations on a case-by-case basis. 6. **Confirmation**: You will receive a confirmation of your cancellation via email or phone. If you do not receive confirmation within a reasonable time, please follow up to ensure your cancellation has been processed.
